Home sweet home.

It is awefully good to be here after 24 hours of travelling. I am already resenting the cold weather and dark mornings although am finally enjoying a good cup of tea. Can't wait to see everyone. Go Riders!

Wow! It has been a few days since I last looked at your blog (you're on my favourites list, you know). I had begun to think you had given up on blogging. What I've missed over the past week has been incredible. Sally, your life is full of excitement, and you have an amazing talent for painting it in words.
Portugal sounds incredible. I haven't viewed your photos yet, but I will take my virtual tour later - perhaps for a coffee break.

It's full-on winter here in Mitchell. That's fine by me. I'd rather piles of snow, than rain and slush.
Work has been busy. We've started curling. The biggest excitement this fall was taking a wilderness survival course at Conestoga College. It was so much fun. We had four in class nights, and then a weekend on some crown land outside Parry Sound. The idea was to act as if we'd been hiking, and we're lost, so we must stay put for the night, build a shelter, stay warm and hydrated. A lot of work, but very rewarding. When I get time, I'll post the pics on facebook. You can find me there now. Lib convinced me to join in on the fun. I wasn't getting much for email anymore. EVERYONE seemed to be on facebook.

Take care.
Sharon
