ever so slight lament
my last tax return as a 'single' person ... at least someone will be able to use my accumulating tuition credits next year.

The thought of this being my last tax season as a "single" never crossed my mind! I don't know if we wil fare better or worse, mst likely worse.

Use Quicktax, if you don't already. It has saved me a bunch of money by telling me how much of different credits to transfer to my spouse, and so on. In fact, for this most recent return, it helped me save an additional $800 that I would have had no idea about.
i love quicktax, especially since i got it for free this year. last year intuit (or whatever the company is) made me pay for it even though the government didn't recognize my earnings as income, but not this year.
