Geizers and Grass
I had a 88-year-old man tell me he would like to marry me when his wife dies last night. It is bad enough thinking "I am only 3 years older than your daughter" and even worse thinking "you are older than my dad", but I don't even know how to describe "you are older than my grandpa".
On the brighter side, I saw the grass on our lawn for the first time this weekend. It is really green! Everybody else on the street has brown lawns, but for some reason ours is bright green. It must have been freeze-dried. Good Ol' Saskatchewan weather!

At first I thought your title had to do with smokin' pot in the seniors home...
LOL! It is funny enough w/o pot!

sally...take the offer then you can get your Mrs. !
My MRS. has very little importance to me comparded to maintaining my dignity thank-you. By the way, who made that comment? Was it you mom? You can't be that desperate to see me married? I don't think there would be any grandchildren involved!
ha ha!! You are HILARIOUS!! I love the freeze dried grass comment. Our front lawn looks like a sandbox. I guess that comes with living on a main drive!! Freakin sandtrucks!

I ran into Mel and Eileen in the mall today. It was nice to see them cuz it's been some time but at the same time kinda awkward. Didn't know at first what to say. I think I asked if they were on an outing w/ the village or something. Anyway, we did talk for a bit and somehow you came up in the conversation. He said you were a "very interesting dinner companion". Thought I'd pass that on!
Ohhh, I love Mel and Elieen. Mel and I discuss "plant science" over dinner -- he is still so with it! They are still one of my favourite couples there, but all the people are becoming my favourite, except the guy who wants to marry me, but I don't think I need to worry about him too much. Apparently Mel and Elieen walk 4X around Market Mall every day! I still think it will be a blast when we all live in Emmanuel together someday. Maybe I will be really rich and could build an assited living/retirement community for all my friends and family to live in. That would be awesome!
